I had been trying different senior foods since my 4 are all seniors... I bake chicken and blend with rice so when i saw this I thought this may be a good thing to add or feed on its own.... tried a case, they loved it... it has a good consistency not mushy like some or a rock like other canned foods.... buy all the time now...

I did some calculations on how many calories my overweight dogs should each be getting. I've liked Evanger's canned dog food in the past then found this one. It's the lowest calorie, good ingredients food I've found. It's not grain free. My GSD went from 86 to 80 pounds in 2- 3 months. She's also very active. Heeler maybe lost 2 pounds and Lab likely lost zero. My heeler has arthritis and is pretty inactive now. Lab is just a plus size girl who I've gotten nowhere with. I keep this Evanger's in my pantry and they get about a quarter cup of it on their dry food twice a day.
